Later this month, on the 22nd of September, Heather will be travelling to Leeds to deliver a talk on hoarding and how it is becoming a problem within the sector.

Hoarding has been identified as a growing problem within the sector, and landlords face tough decisions on how best to support vulnerable tenants putting themselves and others at considerable risk when budgets are under pressure.

This talk will explore all aspects of hoarding for housing professionals – understanding causation, which can be complex, the necessity of action from a health and safety perspective, what the problem is, how multi-agency working can improve outcomes, and the legal remedies available as a final resort. Delegates will hear expert views and work through a case study which will run through the presentations, to improve their understanding of hoarding and how it can be dealt with effectively.

This is one in a series of three focused legal sessions NHC is running in conjunction with Ward Hadaway; our other sessions are Mental Health and Housing, and Representing Your Organisation in Court.

**Sessions are £49 members/£79 non members. Sign up to all three legal sessions for just £110 members/£200 non members**
