Dedicated to helping people with hoarding disorder
Whilst many people might think of themselves as ‘hoarders’, for most the trait doesn’t actually do any harm. But for a few, it reaches extremes that can affect their health, even put their
lives at risk.
At present in the UK there is no help for sufferers.
Clouds End has been formed to address this problem. Working firstly with people suffering from hoarding disorder themselves in their homes but also with social services, housing associations, landlords, Primary Care Trusts (PCT’s) and anyone who comes into contact with hoarding situations that are creating problems.
Share with, pledge to and help others ...
This is a closely monitored forum where hoarders can share their experiences and seek advice on how to help themselves from fellow hoarders and Clouds End approved hoarding professionals.
Users can make ‘Pledges’, these are declarations of intent to the Help Hub community. Progress of the pledges, along with photos where possible, will be trackable by members who can show their encouragement and be inspired to make a ‘pledge’ of their own. Uncompleted pledges will, nevertheless, be encouraged to be shared as all emotions are relative. Member support could even spur eventual completion.
Example: Ruby Red pledges to clear her hall cupboard before the end of the month.
